American singer Will Oldham, who records under the name Bonnie ‘Prince' Billy has a distinctive style, which he largely kept to over the years. A lo-fi version of indie rock, Bonnie ‘Prince' Billy sings his literate lyrics with his weary voice. Oldham has been more experimental at times, once collaborating with a band from Nashville to re-record his own earlier songs. The album was called Bonnie 'Prince' Billy Sings Greatest Palace Music (2004).
